on Wednesday we all met up and finally got all our filming done. HOWEVER, we are realllyyyyy not happy with it.
we tried everything, so many different types of shots etc but the footage just isnt up to the same standard as our lipsyncing.
THEREFORE, we are now scrapping the whole narrative idea and just doing a video like Janelle Monae and Sinead O'Connor with lots of powerful shots of leonie lipsyncing. since the very start of our research and planning we have been inspired by these two artists' videos so we feel confident to be able to pull this off.
This new idea will include - an extreme close up of leonie, her lip syncing from the left and the right, slightly above, slightly below, her crying and getting stressed/upset, a mid shot and close ups of just her mouth and just her eyes. (All done on the black background with same makeup/hair as on our first draft).
Lesson learnt - Not everything goes to plan, so always have a plan B! which we do so its all good :) ! We're going to film on Sunday night which is when we will also do our photos for our digipak.
