Editing final video

On Thursday we edited our final draft of the video we filmed on Wednesday night. First of all we imported all of the clips of the video recorder and deleted the clips we didnt like and cut the clips we did like down to the footage we needed. We then sorted the clips out into left side right sight and central shots. We had to cut the whole song down by about 10-15 seconds in order to start the lip syncing at the same time as the actual music. We then decided what order the clips should be in as we agreed that we shouldnt go to a close up to an extreme close up as the transition would make it look dodgy. On every one we went from the side to a close up to show substantial difference in each shot. We then had to chose the parts of the song we wanted each clip to go alongside as in not changing clip half way thorugh a verse. And using the powerful/teary clips for the chorus/bridge of the song. Also making sure that the syncing matched the transitions. We finally had to add a title to the beginning to make it look like an actual music video. Despite the visual simplicity of our video, there was HUGE amounts of time and effort that went into filming and editing.
