Final Inside Of Digipak

This is our final piece for the inside cover of our digipak, i have also included the band profile in the bottom right hand corner of the image :)

album cover

This is the image used for the front cover, obviously cropped to gain a more extreme close up in the finished product below.

This is our finished front cover. We decided to keep it very simple, we just wanted to use a close up which continued the same message as the video, without the need of many props etc. The styling also continues through out the front and back cover. I changed the saturation etc of the image so that it looks edgy as does the back cover. The back ground is edited from a picture we took of the setting for the poster which is jsut a foggy sky. I continused that picture round onto the spine and re wrote the name of the artist on the album ont his also. We continued the same font 'vivaldi' throughout the digipak to ensure continuity and a proffesional immitation. I used an idea from my last years media project to use a fine eraser to scribble over the lettering to give it a scratched out look.

back cover ( with barcode! )

This is our final piece for a back cover with barcode this time! We had lots of discussions about this as there was mixed feedback from the teachers about the backgroud of the image. Mr Ford wasn't too sure on, when Mr Nicholle think it worked well. After talking about it, although respecting Mr Fords opinion, we like the image as it is as we think it connotes the message of our genre well. The back ground appears, dull, uninhabited and 'run down' which gives the negative atmosphere required.

finished!!

This is our final digipack on the template on photoshop, (other than the poster and lyric book.) We used this template downloaded from the internet to ensure the right dimensions when printing.

A3 Lyric Page - Complete

this is the final version of our lyric page (a3). this will be used as an insert for our cd digipak and on the reverse will be the poster (soon to be uploaded). this, in a real life situation, would then be used for someone to read the lyrics or use as a poster for their bedroom etc. i've also added on a copyright feature in the bottom left which i copied out of other lyric books to make it look more professional.
