Evaluation of First Draft

We are all happy with how our first draft has come out, however there are many changes that will take place in order to finish our final music video.

- a scene of Leonie and Tyler making up
- a scene of Tyler ringing Leonie
- a scene of Leonie not having her phone on her when Tyler rings
- less lip syncing
- re film the argument scene (as Leonie is laughing near the end of it and theres a clothes stand in the background!)
- re film the outside footage of Leonie walking as the lighting isnt quite right so it looks too dull
- overall touch ups
- create more sence of continuity using more narrative (more of Leonie and Tyler in flashbacks)

We're really happy with the current lip syncing on the black background, so this will not be touched and will still be used in our final peice. We like the black and white flashback as this makes it obvious that it's happened in the past and looks effective. This just obviously needs adding to.
We like the simplicity of these lip syncing parts as it suits the genre and works with the song. This idea came from our inspiration Janelle Monae 'Cold War' and Sinead O'Connor 'Nothing compares to you'.
It was a last minute idea to add the letter box effect onto the final lip syncing part, we think this works well as it focuses onto Leonies face and really shows the emotion in her face. This scene will however need refilming as Leonie breaks eye contact which ruins the effectiveness of the scene a bit!

Generally, we are all very pleased with our final draft. We know we're going to have to work very hard to get the final version complete, but we're all going to make sure we meet up loads and get it sorted!
